KAREN RICARDO World Project 2016

Mesmerized by their exciting dance routine? Wanting to be a part of their amazing world team? Here's your chance!

Entrusted as the sole working partner with Karen & Ricardo in Singapore for their World Project, En Motion's Artistic Director and lead female dancer, Gary & Vivienne will be heading the team for Karen & Ricardo Salsa World Project - Singapore Team!

The project will span across 15 weeks with a total of 32 training hours and the team will be receiving the following from Karen & Ricardo

 

- Training and body conditioning methods
- Dance Choreography
- Coaching via Online media platform
- Direct 4 hours coaching by Karen & Ricardo during performance period in Jan 2016
- Participants will be part of the prestigious Karen & Ricardo World Team project!


The first 14 weeks training will be conducted by Gary & Vivienne under the instructions of Karen & Ricardo online syllabuses. There will be interactive review between the participants and Karen Ricardo direct via online platform

The final week in January 2016, there will be a 4 hour session conducted by Karen & Ricardo direct to fine tune the entire team performance.

 

Participants will be given the chance to perform in the prestigious Singapore International Latin Festival 2016 between 29th - 31st Jan!

Eligibility:

To be proficiently able to lead and follow Intermediate - Advance level moves
To have had prior performance experience


 

Audition
There will be a Video audition by Karen & Ricardo to see if individual members are dance ready to perform in this World Project. All interested participants are invited to register for either of the audition dates below. Please choose only ONE (No fees required for audition)

4.30pm - 6.30pm

15th Sep (Tue)
7.15pm - 9.15pm

Venue: En Motion Dance Studio, 8 Craig Road

Outfit:
Training wears that allows you to move freely.
Recommended outfit for
Male:
Tshirt, tank top, track pants, dancing shoes, jazz shoes
Female:
Tshirt, track pants, tights, dance heels

Participants will be learning a short Salsa routine choreographed by Karen & Ricardo and perform it in small groups. Videos will be taken during the audition and send over to Karen & Ricardo for review.
Selected team members will be invited to join the prestigious Karen & Ricardo World Salsa Team project to undergo further training planned by the both of them!
 

 

Actual Training Course Details

Date:                6th Oct 2015, Every Tuesday

Duration:           14-weeks x 2 hours + 4hrs in final performance week (32hrs)

Time:                7.00pm - 9.00pm
Trainers:            Gary & Vivienne (first 14 weeks) & Karen & Ricardo (4 hours in final week)

Fees:                $560
 


Important clauses to note:
- Course fees does not include costume cost and event pass fee for Singapore International Latin Festival 2016
- All costumes design will be determined by Karen & Ricardo base on their expertise.
- All participants MUST be available to perform between 29th to 31st Jan 2016
- Extra training sessions might be arranged depending on the team's readiness to perform. A token training fees of $10/head/hr will be charged for extra sessions.
